For many years Telegärtner has been offering it’s proven 25 year component warranty. This gives end-users, distributors, and installers the safety that is needed in today’s networks. In most cases, this long warranty period exceeds the life cycle of the cabling infrastructure – which network is used for a quarter of a century?
Users gain peace of mind as they can be assured that the components of their network infrastructure are covered from the first to the last day.
Now Telegärtner enlarges this warranty: Not only individual components but the entire permanent link is covered when Telegärtner cable is used. This means that not only the components will meet or exceed the standard’s specifications years after their installation, but also the entire permanent link will do so.
Of course, the warranty covers the more stringent specifications of the permanent link according to the 2 connector model as is appropriate in Europe – and not, like many other warranties, only the relatively relaxed specifications of the channel.
Telegärtner regards this only as a logical step, as the components made in Germany by using leading manufacturing technologies offer huge margins over the standard’s specifiations, a fact that is consistently certified by independent test laboratories.
This offers the benefit of enhanced safety and makes it much easier for users – whether they are end-users, resellers or installers – especially with high performance network infrastructures like class EA links for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-T).
Instead of having to search for compatible products from different vendors in mix and match installations there is only one partner for the entire link.
The conditions for the 25 year system warranty are simple:
- The components have to be new and unused.
- The entire link must contain Telegärtner class EA system components only.
- The components must be installed professionaly.
- The installed link must pass the field test according to the relevant standards (test equipment is specified to make it even more convenient).
- The installed links must not be modified or reinstalled during the warranty period.
External impacts are not covered by the warranty.
