Burkina Faso, Africa: Telegaertner is actively involved in the development of the mobile networks. With the introduction of 4G components in early 2019 in Burkina Faso, technical teams of mobile phone operators must adapt quickly.
Telegärtner, the system and solution provider for IT cabling, will be presenting the Fiber Termination Box (FTB) at this year's Eltefa trade fair. The modular fiber optic patch panel system facilitates customised cabling in locations where large numbers of apartments or buildings have fiber optic outlets installed. Each apartment or building unit is connected to its own module. This allows extensions and modifications to be carried out to the up and running network without disturbing the links already in operation.
Dr. Christian Benz and Dr. Kai Numssen joined the Management Board at Telegärtner in September. As an experienced R&D and innovation manager, Numssen is taking over the management of the Development & Quality division. Benz is responsible for the Sales & Marketing division as an expert with long years of sales experience.
Telegärtner UK exhibited at Southern Manufacturing 2018 for three days from 6th– 8th of February 2018 and was showcasing a variety of products from its extensive portfolio, from cable assemblies to connectors, cables, speech communication systems and connecting devices.
Lately the 2nd Telegärnter’s APAC Sales Meeting took place in Singapore. Participants from 11 countries met to inform about product news and discuss their cooperation.
From 21st to 23rd March, the first International Distributors Conference of the Telegärtner group took place at the headquarters in Steinenbronn, near Stuttgart. The company was pleased to welcome in total 45 participants from 26 international distributors and subsidiaries of the Telegärtner group from 24 different countries.
The construction product regulation 305/2011 of the European Union makes demands on manufacturers and includes requirements for all permanently installed cables in a building. All new cables introduced into the market must meet the requirements of the regulation by no later than 01/07/2017
Telegärtner’s Fiber Optic Distributor TOC ODB 68 won the Innovation award of SAIE 2016. This award goes to solutions that not only constitute an effective innovation in their fields but also stand out for their low environmental impact and energy efficiency in keeping with the latest needs of the construction industry.

Telegärtner adds the function to configure copper trunk cables to the proven TICNET configurator. Just like the fiber optic trunk cables and the copper and fiber optic patch cords, copper trunk cables can now be configured online with just a few mouse klicks.

Florian Gärtner has been appointed new Managing Director of Telegärtner Karl Gärtner GmbH. The industrial engineer succeeds his father Hartmut Gärtner who is moving to the advisory board of the group of companies. The grandson of the company founder intends to work with Christian Harel to continue the successful growth strategy of this long-established company.
