The industrial connector has an innovative cable gland, which is designed for cable diameters of up to 10 mm and subsequently is cabable for installation with special installation cables and patch cables having multiple EMI shields.
The highly effective strain relief of the MFP8 IE Cat.6A makes it ideally suitable for use in harsh industrial environments, for equipping technical buildings and in data centres. With its connector interface according to EN 60603-7-51, the MFP8 IE is suitable for solid conductors and stranded conductors and is designed for AWG 26/1-22/1, AWG 27/7-22/7 und AWG 26/19-22/19* core cross-sections (wire insulation diameter in a range of 0.85-1.6mm)
Like the other connectors of the MFP8 product family, the MFP8 IE Cat.6A makes use of the tested and proven IPC connection technology and can be assembled on-site without the use of special tools. Its 360° shield contacting also offers secure interference protection in challenging IT environments.
The MFP8 IE also supports PoE+ applications in which terminating equipment such as IP cameras or WiFi access points can be supplied with both data and power.

MFP8 PROFINET Connecting Cables
For device connectivity between machines and terminating equipment in the control cabinet, Telegärtner has expanded its product portfolio of pre-assembled connecting cables to a variant with the MFP8. The UL listed bulk cable used for the assemblies complies with the SF/UTP 2x2xAWG22/7 Cat. 5 type C specification in accordance with the PROFINET cabling guidelines. In addition to PROFINET, the cable also supports the types EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP protocol types. The PUR-jacket cable is resistant to oils and UV light, is halogen free and flame-retardant and can be used within a temperature range of -40° to 85°C. The pre-assembled connection cables are ideal for applications such as security and video surveillance systems, production monitoring systems with cameras, and moving applications with narrow bending radii (> 64 mm, 2 million bending cycles).
