Overview & Adavantages
Telegärtner's portfolio offers you an extensive selection of DIN connectors that comply with DIN 41618 / DIN 41622 standards, providing numerous benefits across various application areas. We prioritize simple installation, flexibility, and seamless compatibility to ensure our DIN connectors 41618/41622 meet all customer requirements:
1. Flexibility to meet varied Requirements
We understand that every customer has unique demands. With our DIN connectors, we offer you a wide range of products that can be flexibly customized to your needs.
With the two DIN standards, you have the option to choose between a symmetrical (DIN 41618) and asymmetrical (DIN 41622) pin arrangement. Additionally, there are various options for the number of poles, which can be configured as follows:
DIN 41618:
- 10, 16, 20, 26, 39
DIN 41622:
- 8, 12, 16, 20, 30
The corresponding accessories are available in two different designs. You can choose between metal or plastic covers and trays, available in various sizes to match the respective number of poles.
This diversity enables you to find the perfect solution tailored to your specific needs.
2. Seamless Compatibility
Our connectors lead the way not only in terms of flexibility but also in compatibility. The DIN standards ensure that our connectors guarantee high interoperability, including with metal and plastic housings and mounting rail adapters.
This means that you can seamlessly integrate our products into existing systems without worrying about compatibility issues.

The main difference between the two DIN standards lies in the pin arrangement and their electrical properties:
DIN 41618:
Symmetrical pin arrangement
Operating voltage: 250V AC / 200V DC
DIN 41622:
Asymmetrical pin arrangement
Operating voltage: 380V AC / 450V DC
For both standards, there is corresponding accessories available for the male (Type A = plug connectors) and female (Type B = socket connectors)
connectors, including housings and mounting rail adapters, which are available in metal or plastic.
Applications
There is a wide range of possible applications for the plugs.
Original applications:
- In the realm of relay interlocking technology (as plug interface between the control panels and the supplying cables)
- For measuring or testing equipment (f.e. inspection the components in the track)
Current applications:
- In electronic control systems or power electronics
- In wind turbines
- In medical technology
As you can see, the possible areas of application are just as wide-ranging as the portfolio of our DIN 41618 and 41622 connectors themselves.
Assembly

Our DIN 41618 and 41622 connectors are designed to facilitate simple and time-saving installation. With them, you can establish connections effortlessly and securely without the need for specialized installation tools. A basic screwdriver is all that's required to seamlessly mount the connector accessories. This translates to reduced effort and enhanced efficiency for your projects.
To establish a connection, the connecting cables are predominantly
soldered to the connectors. Additionally, the connectors can also be directly mounted on the circuit board.
