End-to-End-Cabling for terminals
In the current issue of Haus & Elektronik (issue 2/2023), you will find an article on end-to-end cabling by our colleague Dirk Träger. Where junction boxes and patch cables are undesirable for safety or design reasons, devices are increasingly being connected to the installation cable via a field-terminable connector. The same applies to cabling in confined spaces and to distributors with particularly high connection density. The cabling can be done in different ways. In practice, Modular Plug Terminated Link (MPTL), Direct Attach Cabling and End-to-End Link (E2E Link) have proved particularly successful. Each of these three concepts has its preferred use and its own measurement requirements for testing the installed cabling.
