Angled RJ45 Modules make Installation a lot easier

RJ45 modules with a straight cable entry can be used in module carriers with straight or sloped RJ45 jacks only when the cable comes directly from behind or from the top. In installations where the cable enters the outlet from below, from the left or from the right, there is very often not enough space for proper cable routing left. This is especially true with shallow cable raceways and with flush-mount outlets. The result is transmission problems due to kinked cables.

The cable entry of innovative, angled RJ45 modules can be rotated in steps of 90 degrees on site. This enables cable entry from the right, from the left, from the top and from below, which in turn makes installation in confined spaces, flush-mount installation and installation behind wall panels much easier and in some cases possible at all.

RJ45 Module

Modules with a straight cable inlet are only suitable for cable entry from above in angled outlet boxes. With the AMJ-SL 4x90, cable entry is possible from below.

If the cable is inserted into the appliance installation box from below, there is not enough space for the cable in modules with a straight entry in angled outlet boxes:
This results in transmission problems due to kinked cables. The AMJ-SL 4x90 gives the cable the space it needs.

For straight outlet boxes with modules, the cable can be fed in from above, below, right or left. The AMJ-SL 4x90 therefore offers enormous flexibility for installations in cavity walls and behind panelling of all kinds, which cannot be achieved with RJ45 modules with a fixed straight feed.

Installing the new AMJ-SL 4x90 is particularly easy: The wire manager enters the module housing always in the same direction and the cable entry part of the module is attached depending on the direction the cable comes from. Markings on the module housing and the cable entry part make it as easy as 1-2-3. And the proven SafeLock security locking mechanism makes sure that both, connecting and mounting, is done properly and reliably.
